
Point Park Drops Road Match at Seton Hill, 3-1
GREEENSBURG, Pa. – Point Park fell to Seton Hill in a four-set, non-conference match on Tuesday evening in Greensburg.
Seton Hill opened a 2-0 lead with a 25-17 win in set one and a 25-16 advantage in set two. Point Park edged the Griffins by a 25-22 margin in set three, before Seton Hill closed out the match with a 25-18 win in set four.
Seton Hill outhit Point Park .279-to-.133 in the victory. The Griffins also held an 8-5 advantage in total blocks.
Point Park had a 9-6 advantage in service aces.
Eden McElhaney recorded a triple-double with 12 kills, 18 assists and 13 digs in the match to lead Point Park. Giulia Follador finished the evening with 11 kills and nine digs. Rachele Tessari also chipped in 17 assists in Point Park's offense, while Mia Arndt recorded 12 digs from her libero position.
Catie Flohr recorded a team-high 12 kills to lead Seton Hill in the victory. A trio of Griffins also chipped in nine kills apiece, including Payton Rodberg, Emma Meurer and Ella Deeter.
Point Park will return to conference play this Friday, hosting the University of Charleston at the PPU Student Center. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
