The Point Park University Athletics Alumni Weekend has been one of the longest-running traditions in the history of the university. What started in 2009 with alumni reunion games and continued in 2010 with the Point Park University 50th Anniversary celebration, the inaugural athletics alumni weekend began in fall of 2011. Every year since, the weekend has been held with a golf outing, alumni games and the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Now in 2023, a new and exciting tradition will be born. Point Park University's Homecoming Weekend & Family will be held Friday-Sunday, Sept. 29 to October 1. The memorable and traditional activities of athletics alumni weekend will be held as always along with campus-wide events for alumni from all decades and all corners of university history through the years.

Point Park Athletics Golf Outing
Tee it up at the 13th Annual Point Park Athletics Golf Outing at Cedarbrook Golf Course on Friday, Sept. 29, 2023. Proceeds benefit Pioneers athletics with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. for a four-person scramble event. For more information and to register, visit the golf outng home page at the link below.

Athletics Alumni Games
The 2023 Point Park Athletics Alumni Games will take place on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023. This year's alumni game will feature baseball and softball at Green Tree Park. Registration begin at 10:30 a.m. with the alumni games beginning at 11:00 a.m. After the games, there will be an Alumni Reception at The Alcove -- located conveniently down the street at 875 Green Tree Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 -- with food and drink.

Pioneer Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
The Pioneer Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2023 Induction Ceremony will take place on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023 with a dinner on campus. Reception at 5:00 p.m. with dinner at 6:00 p.m. This year's inductees are Tom Birko (Baseball, 2010-14), Shane Lucas (Men's Soccer 2008-11) and Ashley Morran (Softball, 2011-14). Did You Know? A History of Point Park University Athletics Alumni Weekend
Since the inaugural Point Park University Athletics Alumni Weekend in the fall of 2011, the Pioneers athletic department has hosted this yearly tradition for Pioneer alums.
The Point Park University Athletics Alumni Weekend got its start in 2009 with the hosting of the Baseball & Softball Alumni Reunion Games in October. In the fall of 2010, Point Park held its 50th Anniversary Celebration, an event that included athletics alumni reunion games for baseball, softball, volleyball and men's and women's soccer as well as the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Following the success of the athletics portion of the 50th Anniversary Celebration, the inaugural Point Park University Athletics Alumni Weekend was held in the fall of 2011. The Point Park Athletics Golf Outing was held for the first time that year and was added to the start of the weekend, which also included the alumni reunion games and the Hall of Fame induction.
