Point Park Hosts Frostburg State on Tuesday Night
PITTSBURGH – The Point Park volleyball team continues Mountain East Conference play against Frostburg State on Tuesday night at the PPU Student Center.
Point Park comes into Tuesday's match with a record of 2-8, including a 1-0 mark in league play. Frostburg State is currently 4-7 on the year (0-1 MEC).

Storylines
- Point Park has won two of its last three matches with wins over Bloomsburg (Sept. 14) and Davis & Elkins (Sept. 26).
- In Thursday's match against Davis & Elkins, Giulia Follador led the Pioneers with 19 kills and 15 digs. Rachele Tessari chipped in 10 kills 14 digs.
- For the season, outside hitter Eden McElhaney has a team-high 95 kills and 112 digs to lead the Pioneers. McElhaney is averaging 2.71 kills per set and is hitting .122 on the season.
- Follador is second on the team with 91 kills for the Pioneers this season.
- Outside hitter Rachele Tessari is currently third on the team in kills (71) and second in digs (96). Tessari has a team-high .140 hitting percentage for the Pioneers.
- Sophomore libero Mia Arndt has 95 digs on the season. In last Thursday's win over Davis & Elkins, Arndt recorded a season-high 21 digs in the sweep.
- Setter Elise Wallace is leading the Pioneers with 281 assists this season.
- Frostburg State and Point Park competed in a non-conference match back on Sept. 13 at the Vulcan Invitational, with the Bobcats coming away with a 3-2 victory over the Pioneers.
- McElhaney and Follador led Point Park with 16 and 15 kills, respectively, against the Bobcats.
