
Point Park Returns Home to Host Washington & Jefferson on Tuesday
PITTSBURGH – The Point Park volleyball team will open the home portion of its schedule on Tuesday evening against Washington & Jefferson University. The non-conference matchup is set for 6 p.m. at the PPU Student Center Gymnasium.

Point Park Storylines
- Point Park opened the season at the Hall of Fame City Challenge in North Canton over the weekend, dropping matches to Lake Erie, Walsh, Malone and Thomas More.
- Outside hitter Eden McElhaney led the Point Park attack over the weekend with 39 kills to go with 34 digs. Giulia Follador also recorded 27 kills and 37 digs from her outside hitter position last weekend.
- Haley Stormer and Patricia Calero Iriza each recorded eight total blocks to lead Point Park around the net. Stormer had five solo blocks.
- Setter Elise Wallace passed out 101 assists to go with 24 digs from her setter position to open the season at the Hall of Fame City Challenge.
- Following Tuesday's home opener, Point Park will return to action on Friday and Saturday at the Vulcan Invitational in California (PA). The first matchup of the weekend is set for Friday at 3 p.m. against Frostburg State.
