Point Park wins at Alice Lloyd (Ky.) to finish RSC road weekend

PIPPA PASSES, Ky. -- Point Park University volleyball finished its River States Conference road weekend with a 3-1 win at Alice Lloyd (Ky.) on Saturday. The Pioneers won in four sets, 25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 25-8. 

Point Park (3-5, 1-1 RSC) bounced back from a loss the night before at WVU Tech. The Pioneers had 61 kills and 71 digs on the day to take big leads in those categories over the Eagles. 

Eden McElhaney totaled 23 kills and 12 digs for Point Park. Amanda Contois joined her in double digits with 12 kills while Mariah Perez added eight. Ashlynn Gulakowski collected 27 assists and seven digs with Elise Wallace getting 19 assists and nine digs. Point Park had three players with double figures in digs with Kenzie Zauner and Lily Marchand picking up 11 apiece. 

Point Park will return home and then go back out on the road Tuesday to play at Rio Grande (Ohio) for another RSC East Division matchup.
