
Seven members of the women's T&F team named to 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete Team
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Women's Track & Field Scholar-Athletes with Point Park women's track & field having seven members named as NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
The 2024 list of Daktronics NAIA Women's Track & Field Scholar-Athletes features student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their current institution. For an athlete to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.
2024 Daktronics NAIA Women's Track & Field Scholar-Athletes:
Allison Plassio: senior studying Elementary Education PreK-4 and Special Education K-12 with a 3.72 GPA
Emma Pavelek: junior with a 3.81 GPA
Jana Schmid: junior studying International Business Management with a 3.93 GPA
Kiyara Sawyers: sophomore studying Education with a 4.0 GPA
MaKayla Rice: sophomore studying Dance with a 3.86 GPA
Natalea Hillen: senior studying Broadcast Journalism with a 3.93 GPA
Rakeya Ellsberry: junior with a 3.86 GPA
