Kelly Raddar was hired as Point Park University women's soccer head coach on August 8, 2022. Raddar began immediately with the start of preseason training that very day. He replaced John Newbery, the head coach of the previous two seasons who left for another opportunity on June 22, 2022. 

Raddar (pronounced radar) guided Point Park to a record of 10-6-2 overall, 9-0 River States Conference in his first season with the Pioneers in fall 2022. Point Park won the RSC Regular Season Championship with an undefeated conference record and made a run to the RSC Championship semifinals. For that, he was named RSC Women's Soccer Coach of the Year. 

Radder has coached on the collegiate level for 14 years, which includes 11 years as a college head coach. His most-recent job before Point Park was as head women's soccer coach at St. Joseph's (N.Y.) University in Brooklyn, N.Y., since 2020.

"Kelly has many years of experience on the collegiate level, which stood out in the hiring process. He is experienced in leading programs, recruiting and developing student-athletes. He is also well-versed in the technical and tactical aspects of the game."

Raddar was hired as women's soccer head coach at St. Joseph's (N.Y.) in 2020 and coached the team during the 2021 season. Before that, he was the head coach at Portland Community College in Portland, Ore., for three seasons from 2017-20. There he led the squad to its first-ever winning season and playoff appearance in his first year.

He was an assistant coach at NCAA Division II Northern Michigan from 2006-17. In his one season there, he helped the program to the GLIAC playoffs.

Raddar was the head women's soccer coach at Treasure Valley College in Ontario, Ore., for three years from 2013-16. The program posted winning seasons and playoff appearance in 2014 and 2015. His tenure there also included coaching the men's team for one season, which resulted in a winning record.

From 2010-13, Raddar was the head coach at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston, Mass., for three seasons. That included a 16-4 record and regional finals appearance in 2011 and a 20-2 record and a state championship game appearance in 2012.

Raddar got started on the college level as associate head coach at Middle Georgia State from 2009-10. Before that, he worked for several years on the academy, ODP and high school level. Raddar holds a USSF Class D coaching license.

The first game of the 2022 season for Point Park women's soccer is Aug. 20 at Madonna (Mich.).
