Point Park, Glenville State Set for MEC Matchup on Sunday
PITTSBURGH – The Point Park women's soccer team hits the road for a Mountain East Conference matchup with Glenville State on Sunday afternoon at Morris Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
PPU enters the matchup on a two-game winning streak and has a record of 2-4-2 overall (1-3-1 MEC) on the season. Glenville State enters the game with a record of 3-4-1 (1-4-1 MEC).

- Paula Sole's goal in the 78th minute proved to be the difference in Point Park's 2-1 win over Davis & Elkins on Wednesday evening at Highmark Stadium. Sole's game-winner was assisted by Sterre Kuijper.
- PPU's first goal in Wednesday's game came off the foot of Cara Spry in the 34th minute.
- In goal on Wednesday, Frederieke Rijlaarsdam made five saves and picked up her first win of the season.
- Last Sunday in a non-conference game against Salem, Spry's unassisted goal in the 28th minute proved to be the difference in the Pioneer's 1-0 victory.
- Against Salem, Maggie Pappas picked up the victory in goal, playing all 90 minutes with a pair of saves in the shutout.
- Following Spry's big week, the graduate defender is currently leading the Pioneers with five points (2 goals, 1 assist). Klara Bring, Gillianne Stewardson, Kuijper, and Sole also have goals for the Pioneers this season.
