Gabi Wait Takes Second at Saint Vincent Invitational
PITTSBURGH – Point Park's Gabi Wait finished second at the Saint Vincent Invitational, which was played at Latrobe Country Club on Monday.
Wait finished just one shot behind the medalist with a 92 (+20) in her round.
Saint Vincent's Lucy Brayton won medalist honors at the event, shooting a 91 in her round on Monday. After Wait's runner-up finish, Seton Hill had individuals place third through fifth, including Jess Bushik (102), Cella Pusateri (106) and Maddie Zurich (108).
In the team standings, Seton Hill (429) took first at the event, followed by Saint Vincent (446) and Waynesburg (549). Point Park did not record a team score at the Saint Vincent Invitational.
Wait and Point Park will now prepare for the MEC Women's Golf Championship, which will be played at Glade Springs Resort in Daniels, West Virginia from Oct. 7-9.
