Stawovy places 5th overall at Westminster

NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Olivia Stawovy placed fifth overall at the Westminster Invitational on Saturday, April 15 to represent Point Park University women's golf.

The senior from Greensburg, Pa., shot 84, which was the best score not from team champion and host Westminster. The Titans took the top four individual placements on the day to win the team title going away with a score of 328.

There were five teams and 32 players in the tournament. Westminster had four players at 83 or better, including medalist Sierra Richard with a 79. After the Titans' players was Stawovy with an individual score for the Pioneers.

There were only six players who broke 90 at the Avalon Field Club. For the complete leaderboard, click the results link above.

Next up for the Point Park women's team is a dual at Wheeling University on April 20. The head to head matchup will take place at Wheeling Country Club beginning at 10 a.m.
