
Softball with seven members named to Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athlete Team
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes with Point Park softball having seven members named as NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
The 2024 list of Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes features 1,250 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their current institution. For an athlete to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.

Mara Iagnemma: senior getting her Masters in Community Psychology with a 3.81 GPA
Sydnie Reese: senior studying Business Management with a 3.71 GPA
Bella Magliocco: junior studying Elementary Education and Special Education PreK-12 with a 3.86 GPA
Remi Koi: junior studying Criminal Justice and a minor in Forensic Science with a 3.71 GPA
Melanie Taylor: junior studying Molecular/Cellular Biology with a Premedical focus carrying a 3.56 GPA
Gianna Welsh: sophomore studying Biology with a concentration in Bioinformatics and a minor in Psychology with a 3.67 GPA
Breanna Pies: sophomore studying Forensic Psychology with a 4.0 GPA
