McKenna Leads Point Park to Fourth Place Finish at West Liberty Invitational

BETHANY, W.Va. – Sophomore Luke McKenna finished fourth to lead Point Park on Thursday evening at the West Liberty Invitational in Bethany, West Virginia. As a team, PPU finished in fourth place with four runners finishing in the top 16.

McKenna finished with a time of 18:58 to finish in the top five, while freshman Albin Petschauer finished 11th with a time of 19:44. Seniors Elijah James and Jannik Windelband finished in 15th and 16th, respectively.

West Virginia Wesleyan finished first in the team standings with a third and sixth place individual finish by Anthony Sanders and Evan Pyles on the afternoon. West Liberty finished second on the team leaderboard with Robert Allen and Francis Toohey turning in a pair of top 10 finishes. Indiana (PA) rounded out the top three, being led by Dan Gibney with an individual first-place finish.

Point Park returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Robert Morris Colonial Invitational in Clinton, Pa. The men's race is slated for 9 a.m. from Youthtowne Fields.
