Bio

Coach Anderson has 40 years of coaching experience as a jumps specialist/sprints/hurdles coach. In total, he has coached 28 athletes to National Championships. Previous to Point Park, Anderson spent 5 years as head coach at Carlow University and has been with Point Park since Fall 2023. He also attended Kent State University where he was an 8-time Mid-American Conference Champion in the triple jump as well as a 2-time NCAA Division I National Qualifier in the Triple Jump. Coach Anderson placed 9th at US Olympic trials in 1988, and also was ranked 49th in the world that year.
