
Men's Soccer Travels to West Liberty for Second Meeting of Season
PITTSBURGH – The Point Park men's soccer team returns to action on Wednesday evening with a road match at West Liberty. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at the West Family Athletic Complex.
Point Park comes into Wednesday's game with a record of 5-3-1 (3-3-1 MEC). The Pioneers are 4-1-1 in their last six games dating back to Sept. 14. West Liberty has a record of 3-5-2 during the 2024 season, including a 1-5-1 mark in league play.
Point Park and West Liberty played earlier this season at Highmark Stadium (9/21/24), with the Pioneers coming away with a 2-1 victory at home. Bruno Lancellotti and Ruben Kuypers scored goals for Point Park in the victory. Kuypers netted the game-winner in the 67th minute.

- Nils Benning is leading Point Park in goals (5), points (11), shots (18) and shots on goal (10) this season.
- Javier Morejon is second on the team in points with 10 (three goals, four assists). Morejon scored a goal and passed out two assists in last Sunday's win over Salem.

- Wednesday's West Liberty match is the first of four-straight road matches for the Pioneers. PPU will travel to West Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday for a 1 p.m. matchup with the Bobcats.
