Men's Soccer Hosts Wheeling at Highmark Stadium Wednesday

PITTSBURGH – The Point Park men's soccer team hosts Wheeling University in Mountain East Conference action on Wednesday evening at Highmark Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Point Park comes into Wednesday's match with a record of 2-2, including a 1-2 mark in league play. The Pioneers are coming off a 3-1 win over Frostburg State on the road, the program's first MEC victory. Wheeling has a record of 0-3-1 (0-2) early this season.

• In Saturday's win over Frostburg State, Nils Benning scored one goal and assisted on another to lead the Pioneers. Midfielder Finn Syson and forward Fridolin Gefrorer also netted goals for the Pioneers.
• Javier Morejon assisted on Benning's 50^th minute goal against the Bobcats.
• For his efforts last week, Benning was named the Co-Mountain East Conference Offensive Player of the Week. For the season, Benning has three goals and one assist to lead the Pioneers in scoring.
