Point Park's Troy Loughry named RSC Men's Golfer of the Week for second time in a row

From River States Conference

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Troy Loughry from Point Park (Pa.) University is the River States Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for March 25-31. It is the second week in a row he's won the award.

A junior from Grove City, Pa., Loughry shot rounds of 69 and 69 to win first place at the UNOH Spring Invitational. Loughry was 6-under for the 36-hole tournament to win the event by one stroke over a host of UNOH players.

It was the second tournament win of the spring for Loughry, who had 10 birdies in the two rounds. Loughry has now won five tournaments on the year and three in a row.

Loughry's RSC Men's Golfer of the Week honor for the previous week was due to him winning the Alice Lloyd (Ky.) Invitational. He started off the spring by shooting 69-70 at Battlefield Golf Club in Richmond, Ky., to win that tournament by one stroke. He is 7-under par in the four rounds so far this spring.
