Six members of Point Park baseball team named to Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athletes with Point Park baseball having six members named as NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

The 2024 list of Daktronics NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athletes features student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their current institution. For an athlete to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.

2024 Daktronics NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athletes:

Cole Wajda: senior infielder

Eddie Javier Jr.: senior infielder

Joathan Rivera: senior pitcher

Michali Brito: senior catcher

Isaac Santana: senior infielder

Jose Moreno: senior pitcher
