Sophia Lee-Hauser named River States Conference Indoor Track Athlete of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Sophia Lee-Hauser from Point Park (Pa.) University is the River States Conference Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Jan. 15-21. 

A junior from Pittsburgh, Pa., she qualified for NAIA nationals in the 3,000-meter racewalk under the NAIA 'A' standard. Lee-Hauser placed fourth at the Indiana Tech Invite with a school record 16:01. 

That performance increased her previous national qualification that was under the 'B' standard. It also gave her the No. 1 ranking in the RSC.
